Before the Alumina aluminium door system was launched, and again after its launch, the system underwent exhaustive testing, both internally and by an independent third party. The full sized doors easily surpassed the highest marks for security, achieving PAS24, Part Q and Secured by Design accreditations.

All types of Alumina doors include Liniar’s patented combined lock and thermal insert, following the same principles as the Queen’s Award winning ModLok™ bi-folding door. This unique modular lock blends the ultimate security specification with a high strength engineering polymer lock body, the lock itself acting as a thermal break and helping achieve U-values as low as 1.3 W/m²K.

Designed to keep families safe whilst at the same time offering supreme energy efficiency, Alumina doors also include bespoke hardware to help protect against break-ins, including:

• Opposing hooks
• Shootbolts that secure firmly into the track
• Anti-lift features
• Anti-bump cylinders

Alumina’s bi-directional locking points add further security. Slimline hinges with concealed fixings not only look beautiful, but ensure the doors can’t be unscrewed from the outside.
